Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Ukraine

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced that it is designating an 18-month period for Ukraine for TPS due to the ongoing invasion by Russia. Ukrainian nationals physically present in the US since March 1, 2022 could be eligible to apply. TPS allows for protection from deportation and a work permit with Social Security Number.

Details on how and when to apply are forthcoming from DHS and updates will be posted.
