USCIS Announces Fiscal Year 2022 H-1B Cap Registration Dates

USCIS has announced that the Fiscal Year 2022 H-1B Lottery registration season will open at Noon EST on March 9, 2021 and will close at Noon EDT on March 25, 2021. All entries into the H-1B registration lottery must be drafted and submitted into the USCIS registration system during this period. Selection of entries will be completed by March 31, 2021. Employers with selected registration entries may start submitting H-1B petitions to USCIS on April 1, 2021 through June 30, 2021. If USCIS receives registrations exceeding the 85,000 cap, a computerized random lottery will be performed. Per previous Immigration Alert, USCIS will not be implementing the wage prioritization rule previously created.
