Parole in Place (PIP) Updates

Currently, eligible applicants for Parole in Place (PIP) under the Keeping Families Together Program may continue to submit Form I-131F applications to USCIS, however, applications cannot be approved at this time due to an administrative stay of approvals due to ongoing litigation. Currently the stay is in effect until further notice. The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals froze proceedings in the lower court, on September 11, 2024, until they hear the intervenors appeal.

If you think you, or someone you know may be eligible for the program, schedule a consultation here. Eligibility for the program includes:

  • Have entered the U.S. without permission;

  • Be married a U.S. citizen as of June 17, 2024;

  • Have lived in the U.S. for at least 10 years as of June 17, 2024, and up to the time they file their application; and

  • Meet other requirements related to criminal and immigration history.
